Sakina
Sakina is a small village of about 400 people located in Northeast Tanzania outside of Arusha. Sustain Foundation has partnered with the community of Sakina since 2005 in implementing sustainable health and educational programs.
Team Sakina

Sakina Scholars
- Sakina Scholars empowers high-achieving students in need in Tanzania with scholarships, support, and mentors to excel in school.
Sakina Health
- Sakina Health conducts participatory community based health assessments and trainings to address the needs of the local community.
- Sustain.Sakina creates mutually beneficial personal partnerships between school classrooms in Chapel Hill-Carrboro, and the Sakina Scholars program.
