Mission Statement
Sustain Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Carrboro, North Carolina. Sustain Foundation recognizes that all communities have inherent strengths and needs, and thus the organization provides opportunities to improve well-being by utilizing the one community's strengths to meet the identified needs of another in unique, innovative ways.

History
Sustain Foundation, founded by Kerry Brewer, was formally incorporated as an educational and charitable non-profit in the state of North Carolina on July 22, 2008 and received 501c3 tax- exempt status in December of that year.
Sustain Foundation began with an initial board and advisory board of 11 members. In its first year there were 35 people directly involved with Sustain Foundation’s formation and growth and Sustain Foundation served over 500 people with its programs, services, and products.
